Work is slowly being produced as I teach art full time in 2019. Look for new issues of MY DAY this winter and spring and art shows in Portland and New York this year.
As I give an extremely sad goodbye to my teaching position at The Cottonwood School of Civics and Science, I welcome my student-teaching position at Wilson High School starting in mid-January. In addition, Ill still be instructing Letterpress and Adult drawing in the evenings at The Multnomah Arts Center. Also, I will make a MY DAY or two and will be in a couple art shows later in 2018. Until then, Im feverishly archiving books, prints, drawings and paintings made in 2017 and adding them here. Cheers!
Monday, August 28th I’ll be instructing a quick polyester plate lithography one-day workshop at the Multnomah Arts Center. In class we will focus on producing a small edition of our own lithographs and we will review the history of the process from early printing communications to industrialization to lithography’s role in the digital age. There are two seats left! Please email me with any questions. Watch my lithography demonstration here.
